Finding the right music instructor is a lot like finding the right pair of shoes—it has to be the perfect fit. After a long hiatus, I am thrilled to announce that Trial Lessons are officially back at McMusic Lessons & Performances!
Whether you’ve been on the fence about learning guitar or you’re looking for a fresh perspective on piano, the door is now open for you to come in and see what we’re all about.
Why Trial Music Lessons are Back?
I believe that music education shouldn’t feel like a leap of faith. You should feel confident in the teaching style, the environment, and the plan for your progress. By bringing back trial sessions, I want to give prospective students in Palos Hills (and online!) the chance to:
- Experience the “Spatial Awareness” Method: See how I break down complex theory into movements that make sense on your instrument.
- Audit the Studio: Get a feel for the professional environment, whether you’re joining me in person or via my high-definition online setup.
- Build a Roadmap: We won’t just “noodle” around. We’ll discuss your specific goals and I’ll show you exactly how we’ll reach them.
How it Works
Getting started is simpler than ever. I’ve integrated a new registration system to make the process seamless:
- Visit the Portal: Head over to our Registration Page.
- Submit Your Info: Tell me a little bit about your musical background (or lack thereof—beginners are always welcome!) and which instrument you’re interested in (Guitar, Piano, Bass, or Ukulele).
- Schedule Your Session: Once I receive your registration, I’ll reach out to discuss scheduling your trial lesson.
No Pressure, Just Music
There is no long-term commitment required to book a trial. My goal is to ensure that when you decide to pursue music, you’re doing it with a teacher who inspires you.

Are you ready to stop thinking about playing and start actually doing it?
