In college the teacher’s interests gravitated towards music theory and composition, taking to the works of J.S. Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Franz Schubert, and others. Though the guitar is the music teachers primary instrument, he has also studied the piano. He has written original compositions, songs, and piano sonatas in college and as an amateur freelance composer.
