The first piano lesson introduces the landscape of the instrument. Hand positions and finger numbers are taught to establish an orientation to begin playing melodies. As the piano instructions progress, the piano teacher works with children out of a lesson book of appropriate age and skill level.

Each online piano lesson is followed by custom video examples of songs and exercises to ensure progress between lessons. The teacher customizes each video to the address specific strengths and weaknesses of each student.
